    Description

    Very rare and exceptionally beautiful, ca1890’s Hand Blown, Mary Gregory decorated Cobalt Blue colored, Victorian Glass Barber Bottle's  with an images of a young man and young lady playing tennis.
    This stunningly beautiful Pair of Barber Bottles / Hair Tonic Bottle measures approx. 8" tall and 3 1/2” at its widest. The Bottle has a tooled lip and rough, open pontil. It is beautifully and delicately decorated in the style of Mary Gregory Glass using white enamel and depicting a young man and young lady  holding a Tennis Racket in their hands and reaching to hit a tennis ball.
    The Bottles themselves are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage of any kind. The decoration is also well preserved with two or three, scattered, tiny nicks as can be seen in the scans below.
    A stunningly beautiful and exceptionally well preserved, hand blown, Mary Gregory decorated Cobalt Blue Glass Barber Bottles with a Tennis subject decoration and a fantastic addition to any collection!!!
