ACRYLIC ROUTER PLATE FOR PORTER-CABLE 450 palm router fixed bases

Up for sale is a new 0.23inch acrylic plate for Porter-Cable palm router. It will fit the fixed bases of model 450.
•
The plate measures 4-1/16" in width and 5" in length. When attached to the router it will stick about 7/8" from the front of the router base. At the other three sides it is almost flush. The circular opening in the middle is 1-1/2" in diameter. You can use the screws from the original round plate to attach the acrylic one.

The acrylic plate will give you more visibility and control over the round stock plate as well as the ability to cut along a straight edge with more surface ride along strait edge. Swapping plates on the Porter-Cable palm router bases makes a big difference. The router is more stable and especially so for work on small surfaces.

It does not work with guide bushings.

Acrylic plate only. It does not include router, base or anything other than the plate.
