In the mid 1980s Zuni Trader C.G. Wallace had a specimen of Number Eight Turquoise that was close to eight pounds. Lets take a step back and remember that this is 1980s when someone wanted a couple dollars a carat for a turquoise stone that was considered a huge price. Perry offered Wallace ,000 for that incredible rock and was turned down, and he has never seen another close to that quality. Now over 20 years later he comes in to buy a piece of Bisbee in a trade that is high quality stone. Lets take a step forward to 2010 when a piece of turquoise with over a 0 carat price is not unheard of, and some would say common. The rock has that amazing Bisbee blue with swirls of chocolate matrix. You could make some wonderful cabs, large cabs, or keep in the case to thrill rock hounds. Figuring a value is always a little tricky when it comes to rough turquoise. This rock weighs 1.28lbs that converts to an average yield of around 1280 carats, lots of Bisbee. Bisbee of this grade you find on the market ranging from to a carat, well lets say at our price it will be a great return on investment if you decide to cut it up. If not, it is like the amazing pieces of handmade art you find this stone in, a piece to admire and appreciate.

We ship every day Monday through Friday via USPS Priority Mail. Your order will ship within 48 hours Monday through Friday except holidays. Insurance is included on all orders.
Returns Policy
With every purchase we allow for a provisional 30 day inspection period. If for any reason you do not want to keep an item that you have purchased, simply return the item in original condition within 30 days of receipt. You will be refunded the purchase price. Return shipping not included.
We are extremely reasonable, but the inspection offer is provisional--exclusively at our option. This is a service that most companies would only offer to established account customers. Each of our pieces is unique and carefully photographed. If we feel that the returned piece is in any way damaged, or different than the piece that we originally sent, we will return the item to you and no refund will be offered or made.
