Klean-Strip® Green® Muriatic Acid
With 90% lower emission of fumes than standard Muriatic Acid, Klean-Strip Green Muriatic Acid is the earth-friendly way to brighten masonry, etch concrete, remove excess mortar from bricks and clean algae and scum.
Directions for Use:
Wear chemical-resistant gloves and chemical splash goggles. Remove all surface oil, grease, and dirt prior to using this product.
BRIGHTENING CONCRETE, MASONRY, BRICK, STONE, GROUT AND HARD SURFACES: Dilute 12 ounces of Muriatic Acid per gallon of water in a plastic sprinkling can or a plastic pump up sprayer. Gently stir with a non-metallic utensil. Apply evenly and spread with a broom to any missed areas. Allow to sit for 5 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with water.
ETCHING CONCRETE: Dilute 24 ounces of Muriatic Acid per gallon of water in a plastic sprinkling can or a plastic pump up sprayer. Gently stir with a non-metallic utensil. Apply evenly and spread with a broom to any missed areas. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with water. Allow surface to dry before applying a paint or coating.
CLEANING SCUM FROM BOAT HULLS: Protect non-fiberglass parts and trailer with plastic sheeting. Use full strength. Pour into a plastic bucket and apply with a natural bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly with water.
IMPORTANT: Carefully read all cautions and directions before use. Do not mix with chlorine-type bleaches or other household chemicals. Use only water to dilute. Do not splash while mixing. In enclosed areas, vapors can cause metal corrosion.
Thoroughly rinse all tools used before storage or reuse.
