Cobalt Blue Rustic Multicolor Art Glass BUD VASE Handcrafted Vintage Translucent Vase.
This cobalt blue blown glass bud vase is covered with forest green and terracotta brown paint.  The roughened texture on the outside of the glass lends to making this piece look like  ancient pottery.... but it's NOT!
The glass maker/artist fluted the rim out into 3 large ripples and painted the

inside a forest green color. Apparently, he added the three little emblem circles onto the vase and texturized the outside to give it a rough feel.  Then he spray painted some brown and green paint thinly over the outside.
You can still see the blue transparent glass showing through the paint when you put a light behind it as I did in some of my pictures in order to show it to you.
This is an amazing artisan piece that someone bought sometime in the 1900's.  I don't know if it is older than that. Maybe someone will tell me.
Weight: 8.4 ounces.  Height: 5 1/8" Or 5 1/4" approx.  Width: approx 3 1/4".
Meanwhile, I can't let this go cheap. It was 5 in a country rural antique market.  I have to ask what I think it is worth.  This is unique and one-of-a-kind.  It's intriguing and beautiful.
