    For a Delta Model 23-700 Wet/Dry Grinder.
    Also fits Shop Smith Brand 9110 Models.
    (pretty sure Shop Smith just put their label on the Delta tool)
    Similar to original but manufactured with additional shaft support to help deter the splitting problem associated with the original design.
    The white gear photo is the original design to be replaced.
    The black gear photos are of the improved item you will receive.
    We have made these for our own equipment they are performing excellent now.
    Please follow directions included with your gear.
    PLA is a thermoplastic with a
    higher strength and stiffness
    than both ABS and nylon.
    BUT the wet stone is for honing not grinding or material removal. If you are new to using this machine, the design flaw is powering the slow wheel with a composite gear. The wet stone is for honing with a very light touch and patience. You cannot dress the wheel while on the machine, you cannot bear pressure on the wheel, if the bearings/bushings are not in good condition, and shaft is not true this gear will not help you.
