FANTASTIC JOAN IRVING SIGNED STUDIO ART GLASS SCULPTURE TITLED "DESERT SOLITUDE" 1989
This eBay listing is for a fantastic signed and dated Joan Irving 1989 studio art glass curved sculpture that comes as you see pictured in the listing!!!      This piece features a fantastic dual front image with waves crashing on a cityscape and a kissing couple.      The overall size of this piece is 16" across and just shy of 15" tall.   The back has what I believe is an original retail sticker showing a retail price of 0 and titled: Desert Solitude no 1140089.

Artist Statement
Joan Irving
has been creating unique and contemporary glass sculptures, furniture and accessories since 1980. She is internationally recognized as an innovator in technique, concept and design. Her work is extensively exhibited and collected throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan and is included in the permanent collection of the
Corning Museum of Glass
. She has completed numerous public art commissions including three major sites at the
San Diego International Airport
and metal, glass and neon sculptures for the
City of Escondido.

, working in collaboration, recently completely a monumental project replicating the original glass panels that once graced the corridors of the
Empire State Building.
Joan has received numerous awards and recognition for her work and continues to break ground with bold, new functional and sculptural works that explode with color and imagery.

SHIPPING & HANDLING FOR US BIDDERS
Shipping and handling is set at a fixed rate for for the upper 48 states.   My goal is to ALWAYS ship out the next business day!!!    I normally ship using either USPS Priority Mail shipping or FEDEX Ground shipping so that you get your items right away!!!    Please note that Ebay doesn't have a shipping option for Fedex so I'm forced to UPS Ground as the shipping option on their system but items will be shipped via Fedex instead.   Hawaii, Alaska, Guam and Puerto Rico will be slightly higher.

Due to the nature of most of my items being vintage, collectible and antiques - items are considered AS-IS but I do provide a return policy if you are not satisfied with your purchase.    Returns must be returned within 14 days of receipt and exactly as sold.   If the item is new - it may be covered under the manufactures warranty.   Paypal payments will be given as a refund back to your account.
