    Description

    Rare Opalescent Silver Crest Blue and White Dish with Metal Pedestal Base.  This has the "Fenton" look, but I've never seen a Fenton bowl mounted on a metal pedestal or base.  The metal may have been silverplated at one time, but there is no reference to that--the metal is plain looking, which is odd for such a beautiful bowl.  No chips, cracks, or other damage.  The pedestal can be turned, but the bowl sits very straight so I've not tried to tighten the nut.
