    To set the washer, you'll need a bolt or socket extension that fits inside the collet adapter, a short section of tubing (flexible faucet supply tubing is shown), and vise and hammer. Fix the bolt in the vise, set the screw inside the adapter on the bolt. Then tap the retaining washer down with the tubing. Remember the screw is metric and reverse threaded so you wont likely have a nut you could use instead.
