    Description

Rare American 1840s. "STANDING SOLIDER"  Cologne Bottle, Open Pontil
We're pleased to offer this absolute gorgeous early American cologne bottle. Hand blown into a two part hinge mold in a pale aqua colored glass, circa 1840s. Depicts a standing solider with a sword at the opening of a footed cathedral archway complete with pillars, lattice sides & fancy roof design. What makes this one extra special is the thin flared lip that is rarely ever seen on this bottle, most have an inward rolled lip. Size is 4" tall x 1-3/4" wide. Clean, crisp, attic condition, not a dug or cleaned bottle, pristine perfect.
I've owned this killer piece for over 20 years, now someone else can enjoy it. The winning bidder will be pleased.
