This bottle has a super colorful
BLUE

colored label.  This is a product put out by the infamous CHAMBERLAIN MEDICINE Co. of DES MOINES Iowa, the same company that put out several
narcotic laced
quack or patent medicine bottles
back in the 1800's
.

Condition
:
This bottle is fine condition. It is still corked, capped, and unopened with some of the water and content residue still in it.  It has NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.  See photos for label's condition and bottle's overall appearance

As mentioned, this product was put up by the CHAMBERLAIN MEDICINE COMPANY out of old DES MOINES IOWA.  I believe that this company was forced out of the quack medicine business by the Pure Food and Drug Administration, for repeatedly making false 'cure-all' claims and continually loading up their medicines with addictive narcotics.  Just like many of the liquor and brewing companies when into the beverage business when prohibition hit, I think Chamberlain's went into the perfume business after the Pure Food and Drug Administration gained momentum and strength.  I don't think they prospered very well in the perfume business as there are very few of the Chamberlain Perfume bottles in existence today.  This one came out of an estate sale and still had the original receipt from when it was purchased at the sale in 1989 for ... (!)
