Sears Craftsman 4 3/8” Jointer Planer, Swinging guard insert (part # 29416) that came off model # 103.23340. Tested when unit was completely assembled and functioned as originally intended. The insert came off a fully functional unit that was produced by King Seeley for Sears in the 1950’s. Has some usage wear and finish loss. Part list diagram shows the various component parts for this assembly. All internal mounting parts present along with spring. Complete jointer shown in last 2 pictures for reference only, showing blade guard and insert assembled on unit. Included picture of original parts diagram for reference as well.
