    Description

    Offered for purchase is a fantastic piece of modern art glass crafted by Alabama artist Karen Dixon. Karen taught at the Birmingham Museum of Art prior to starting her own studio. The platter has a high gloss finish with rich brown and white color; it reminds me of a piano. The base is signed by Karen (photo 4).
    Approx. dimensions: just over 12 inches in length and 8.75 inches wide.
    Condition: Very good. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The base shows very light wear consistent with gentle use. As this is a handmade piece, minor irregularities in the glass are normal (e.g. photo 5).
