Solar ionizer utilizes technology that has been used for over 4000 years to disinfect water of micro organisms.  Hilltop Solar and Sooriyan solar ionizers generate charged mineral ions from a copper-silver alloy anode that are attracted to negatively charged microorganisms that results is significantly reduced pool chemicals (80% or more) and lower pool pump operation.
