Vintage Mid-Century Ribbon Art Glass & Aluminum Ribbon Vase MCM Peter Hewitt?
From an estate.  I don't know who made this vase, when it was made, or where it was made.  I can't find another like it and it has no marks or signature.  I found vases made with similar materials and in a similar way by Z. Gallerie and from the MOMA store designed by Peter Hewitt, but none exactly like this one. It measures approximately 9 1/2" tall, 6 1/4" across, and 1 3/4" wide.  The brown spots inside it appear to be bits of dried plants.  I removed some by rinsing the vase, but not all.  The glass has no chips or cracks.  Vase weighs approximately 2 lbs. 2 oz. before packing.
