Vintage ORIENT & FLUME Art Glass Paperweight, Arabesque Design - 1975
We are pleased to offer from our personal collection this vintage Orient & Flume Art Glass paperweight. The paperweight features an Art Nouveau style with iridescent golds, blues and greens on an opal white body. Gorgeous feathering and pulled hooks that appear to swirl around the circular paperweight. The satiny finish is subtle, not flashy and the colors are muted, not hard. We have been collecting Orient & Flume pieces for over 45 years and find that the earlier pieces are far more appealing visually. Measurements
: The paperweight is approximately 3" across in diameter and stands approximately 2-1/4" in height. It has a circumference measuring approximately 9-1/4" around. The paperweight weighs approximately 1 lb. All measurements are approximate, but close.
Condition
: We carefully examined this item. NO Chips, Cracks, Nicks, Scratches, Bruises, Repairs or Restorations were noted. There are some very tiny, thin, light "tick" marks on one of the blue shoulder feathers than are not easily seen. You really need to look with a magnifier to see them and they are not distracting.
