Vintage Porter-Cable Speedmatic Router UBM Motor B-58 Base USA Tested Read. Router has been tested. The cord is beginning to dry out and fall apart. This has been tested the motor fires up and gets up to speed very quickly. Does not seem to have any issues with it but I feel that at some point in the near future the cord is going to become an issue and will need to be replaced. I believe this particular unit is from the early 50's and is a rare unit to come up on the market. This is only from some research I have done. The router itself is in good condition for its age. There is some surface rust on some spot but is very minor. Some of the plastic has begun to break and crumble. Please see pictures.
