For sale is the complete, original packet of
Apollo 14
(Alan Shepard, Stuart Roosa, and Edgar Mitchell) Pre-mission maps of the
Fra Mauro
region of the Moon. This was the target landing are originally to done by the
Apollo 13
mission. Fra Mauro was reassigned to
Apollo 14
. The packet contained both maps and a descriptive handout page for each of the maps. They were prepared by the Department of the Interior/United States Geological Survey/
NASA Manned Spacecraft Center.
The maps are a
pprox. 53" wide x 30". and the envelope 9"x12." All contents are in very good shape.
