This uses high-quality precision shaft material that is manufactured by K+S metals. The shaft goes through the bracket with a stainless washer on the worm end and a nylon washer on the other end. Then the assembly is held in place by a 5/64" shaft collar. The package also includes the hex key needed for the set screw in the shaft collar.
This is very easy to use for the DIY’er. The mounting bracket uses a slot (.125” wide) for mounting and is very easy to set up and get the correct tooth mesh. Any #4 screw will fit through the slot for mounting purposes.
